The idea

Put it into making our streets transit, bike, and pedestrian oriented. Install speed bumps, bike lanes, raised crossings, etc.

Who it helps and why

Giving people other options to move around the city besides a car l allows for all Boston residents to move safely/freely and not waste money on a car. It helps combat the still extremely segregated city we have by increasing accessibility and increases safety for lower income communities and black and brown neighborhoods that have worse infrastructure leading to statistically higher crash rates and pedestrian deaths and injuries.
