The idea
Boston needs an app, similar to BOS311, where citizens can submit photos and videos of Boston drivers and endangering pedestrians. Based on the license plates, and evidence submitted, Police can press charges against or send fines to the drivers.
Who it helps and why
Pedestrians have an equal right to safety as drivers. As a Boston pedestrian, I take my life in my hands every time I cross the street. Particularly post Covid, Boston road rage is out of control. Because they know there there are no consequences for their criminal actions, drivers ignore the law and endanger pedestrians all day every day.
