The idea
Murals and sidewalk/pavement art outside all BPS schools, to increase pride in scholars, and act as DRIVE SLOW reminders to cars.
Who it helps and why
Every neighborhood needs safer schools, and pride in our local schools. Traffic calming measures can be slow to roll out and infrastructure prioritization means not every school will get traffic calming measures in place soon enough. A sidewalk art project at every school is much more scalable over a short time period.
