The idea
“Who's Boston ?!: On the 50th anniversary of "Where's Boston", We propose online, ongoing discussions, between the 23 neighborhoods of Boston, hosted by BPL branch libraries, with immersive video, in neighborhood-themed, architectural stage sets.
Who it helps and why
Boston is likened to the Balkan states, for its fragmentation, neighborhood enclaves, of ethnicity, race, income, health, politics. Reinforced by natural and infrastructure features, borders are visible from the Sky.“City on a Hill” purports ideals yet unrealized. We propose an american “Athens”, not of elitism, but of live Democracy.
