The idea
The issue that I want to address is the lack of voter engagement in Boston, particularly in the most vulnerable Black and Brown communities. I would launch voter engagement pop ups throughout the City. Elected and appointed officials would meet face
Who it helps and why
The lack of voter engagement in Black and Brown populations is abysmal, and continues to drop. In conversations that I've had, these would-be voters feel that they are being heard. Bringing electeds to their neighborhoods and following through on promises, will rebuild faith in the electoral process, and hopefully spur more turnout.
