The idea
I think it is critical to add more greenery throughout Boston. It is a climate, health, and quality of life issue. Boston neighborhoods have a paucity of trees, bushes, flowers, plants, etc. Significant amounts of greenery should be added.
Who it helps and why
The poorer neighborhoods suffer from even less greenery than the more prosperous ones. There are many "asphalt jungles" in Boston that need to be remediated. The playing field needs to be made more equal and all neighborhoods should have enough plants to provide all residents a life-enhancing environment.
