The idea
As Attorney Ricardo Arroyo suggested, we need an independent office to assess all City Boston initiatives before they are implemented [link removed]
Who it helps and why
The project will advance social and racial equity by implementing a checks and balance group independent of The Mayor and city councilors. Example: When I was employed at Northeastern University, I could not depend on the: University Counsel, Affirmative Action officials, Human Resource Management officials, Risk Management, University Public Safety, etc… they were not going to bite the hand that fed them nor place themselves in a position to become a target 🎯 of workplace mobbing. Many resigned, ignored the problem or joined forces with “the perpetrators of injustice.” It is imperative to provide this check and balance system to ward off undue conflict as councilors have experience within the City Hall Chambers, at Northeastern University, January 6 insurrection, Supreme Court, Congress, State House and any other work environment, especially the work environments in which the leaders have ulterior motives that are in conflict with their oaths and or job description… “self-serving.”
