Property tax relief for owners and tenants
Provide property tax relief because recent double-digit hikes are unaffordable for owners and tenants, without shifting the burden onto commercial properties.

The resident's idea, as submitted
The idea
We need property tax relief. The recent double digit property tax hikes are cost prohibitive for owners and tenants.
Who it helps and why
My project idea advances social and racial equity across the board because it's fair for everybody, not just a select group of people. Everybody needs a place to live. We are in an affordability crisis, with commercial properties languishing. Residents need tax relief, and not off the backs of commercial properties that support our workforce. (as proposed by Mayor Wu)
