The idea
School Year Youth Jobs I think it would be great if the City of boston restored funds for youth jobs that were cut. 500,000 dollars back to the youth jobs program for the school year would make sure young people are employed year round.
Who it helps and why
It advances social and racial equity because it gives young people oppurtunities to develop life long skills, keep them out of the street, and give them economic stability within their househould. The budget cuts re going to greatly affects young people who are used to working within the city, which is why we need the money.
