The idea
Bus to connect Dorchester & South Boston to East Boston.
Who it helps and why
It feels like East Boston is a completely separate city. Very inaccessible for those of us who live in the south of Boston. The tolls don’t help either. An easier, cheaper, more efficient/ direct alternative to travel between the north and south of the city would definitely help connect our neighborhoods and enable our residents to access events, work and activities in more places. Connect the beaches (Carson/Castle island/ Constitution beach). There should be a “beach shuttle” in the summer (at the very least, if not year round).
