The idea
I want to give East Boston residents have easy to access outdoor activities. Summertime on the water can have kayaks, pedal boats, etc. Winter can have sledding, snow shoes, etc. Important to promote being active. Via lottery or free “rentals”.
Who it helps and why
Lower income households and households who’ve been historically marginalized often cannot designate funds for these activities. This project promotes getting off screens and spending time outdoors.
