English title and summary written with AI from the resident's text.
The resident's idea, as submitted
The idea
Provide public trash cans along major arteries (Heath St, Centre St) in underserved minority communities where there are none, disincentivizing littering and reducing accessible food for rat population
Who it helps and why
The inequitable distribution of trash cans, primarily downtown or in wealthy white boroughs, skews towards encouraging littering in minority communities and invites rats- and subsequent health risks, property destruction, and rat-borne illness
