The idea
Add a hot tub to Mirabella Pool in the North End. We live in Boston, some summer days are cooler, and often the pool water is cold. A large hot tub would be beneficial to warm up. It would encourage more conversations to interact with neighbors.
Who it helps and why
A hot tub, where people are seated and facing each other, would encourage more conversations to engage with and interact with neighbors. Swim lessons are often in the early morning, when pool is cold. A hot tub to warm up after swim lessons would encourage attendance at swim lessons to help drown proof community members.
