More benches at bus stops and commercial streets
The resident asks for more benches and seating, especially at bus stops and busy commercial streets, so elderly and disabled people, and families can rest in public.

The idea
Install more benches and seating options across the city, especially at bus stops and on commercial streets that aim to draw in a lot of foot traffic.
Who it helps and why
Anyone who might need breaks to sit outside for any reason have their ability to exist in public life severely restricted. The elderly, disabled people, and children and parents (and more) can benefit from a place to sit and rest while doing errands in the city. As a disabled person, I can't leave my house in the heatwave because if my symptoms flare, in most locations there's nowhere to sit down but the sidewalk. The alternative is passing out in the street, or not being able to exist in public until the weather turns.
