The idea
Currently, there is no wi-fi available on the commuter rail lines. For commuters, particularly those who spend 2 hours round trip on trains, they could use that time for work. As of now, i and others use mobile hotspots.
Who it helps and why
By providing free wifi on trains, students and residents can study and work on their commute. This allows more productivity for all commuters, but especially those of lower Ses that use public transportation. This also promotes use of public transportation and may decreases private travel which helps with i city congestion as well as impacts on global warning.
