The idea
I'd like these funds to support the City's plan to pedestrianize Canal Street in the West End. The Triangle has few green spaces and is not very pleasant as a pedestrian--which is at odds with the heavy foot traffic experienced around events.
Who it helps and why
This project advances equity by (1) beautifying a public space for all members of the community, and (2) creating more chances for community around public events by providing a safer and more enjoyable gathering space.
