The idea
Creation of sun-shades of some kind for MBTA stops in the Met Hill area. Outside of Poplar down in the Village, most of these stops are not shaded at all espc with recent tree removal activities.
Who it helps and why
Many of our local residents take the bus for work, recreation, etc. Sun-shades will benefit everyone as the area becomes warmer, but especially social and racial demographics who are more likely to utilize the bus system (ex., the elderly.)
