The idea

There is a huge long retaining wall on Cummins between Brown and Sherwood. It is directly between 2 schools - the Brooke Charter and the Sarah Roberts BPS. It's an AWESOME canvas for a gorgeous mural that highlights the School Zone to peds & cars.

Who it helps and why

The demographics of the Brooke school are majority african american kids and the Roberts school is majority minority with hispanic and AA kids plus white & asian. These children deserve a SAFE and INSPIRING route to school. Murals help slow traffic by showcasing the schools nearby. The Artist(s) chosen can also be a place to showcase BIPOC Excellence in Boston.
