The idea
Allston Village needs rat-proof trash cans. We are known as "Rat City". The North End received these trash cans last PB Season. it would be great if Allston could receive them next.
Who it helps and why
Allston was a red-lined neighborhood and has MassPike going right through it, cutting off half of the neighborhood from each other. Pollution and trash has been a consistent problem in the neighborhood. Boston supporting our neighborhood and providing these trash cans would allow us to be able to live with dignity and feel supported by the city.
