Open indoor play hours in Carter playground dome

The idea

Put up posted open hours in the Carter playground dome over the winter, when anyone can come play on a field indoors for at least 4-hour blocks on some weeknights and weekends.

Who it helps and why

Over the summer, you see pickup games of soccer, frisbee, spikeball, catch, or just running with people of all ages, races, genders, and abilities playing together and building relationships on the fields. In the winter, most people have never been inside the dome. By giving some 4-hour blocks that are good for individuals and families to come and play in the dome, more of those interactions that happen in the summer could also happen in the winter.
