The idea
Improve the shopping center at fields corner to increase housing, improve the neighbourhood access to small business and public transportation, decrease trash migration and increase walkability for those living in this area.
Who it helps and why
This is a blighted area the city where a large percentage of people of color live. Better and more affordable housing, walkability and cleaner streets would help bring this area of the city back to life. Most of the small businesses on Dot Ave are owned by POC and people in the neighborhood want to be able to walk and spend at these these businesses.
