The idea
Upgrade Paul’s Park / Washburn Green to be a place for the community to enjoy. Add pear trees to harken back to when the whole neighborhood was an orchard. Add park benches and add lighting, as today there is nowhere to sit and it is very dark.
Who it helps and why
It adds park/green space to Dorchester, the largest and most diverse neighborhood of Boston. It gives the neighborhood somewhere to gather and spend time and would help add to public safety at night.
