The idea
Invest in improvements to the Strand Theater that would make it more appealing to a new operator.
Who it helps and why
The Strand is located in one of the city's diverse neighborhoods. We would love to see a venue operator that would produce events of interest to, and across, the many cultures in our neighborhood. An organization like that will not have the needed funds to improve the Strand's seating, sound, and facilities.
