i suggest taking the 2 million dollars and purchasing artifacts of Boston History. use those artifacts in a roving exhibit at all the BPL locations. when the roving exhibit is over the city now has ownership of those artifacts which stores and taken care of at the BPL’s Special collections by their archivists. just nice investment for the public down the road that can be used in future exhibits. you can run the gambit of acquisitions baseball, revolutionary items ect ect ect. our local government should consider acquiring objects of our city history for generation and generation of this city’s children to enjoy.
